Abstract:
This article explores the connotation and application of the theory of the "You Gu Wu Yun (Presence of Indication Without Harm)", aiming to provide a reference for the safe and rational use of blood-activating and stasis-resolving drugs in elderly patients with hemorrhage. By analyzing the core essence of this theory from ancient to modern times, three basic principles are summarized: administering corresponding prescriptions for specific diseases, discontinuing medication once the condition improves to avoid excess, and reasonably controlling the dosage of drugs. On this basis, the clinical application of single blood-activating and stasis-resolving drugs, compound prescriptions, and their combination with western medicine is further elaborated, while emphasizing the importance of the dose-effect relationship during medication. The study shows that blood-activating and stasis-resolving drugs can be safely applied to elderly patients with hemorrhage in accordance with the principle of "You Gu Wu Yun (Presence of Indication Without Harm)".
