青蒿素及其衍生物在神经退行性疾病中的应用研究进展*

摘要:随着全球人口老龄化加剧,神经退行性疾病造成的社会医疗和经济负担日益加重。青蒿素及其衍生物因其抗炎、抗氧化、抗肿瘤、免疫调节和神经保护作用,展现出治疗神经退行性疾病的潜力。总结了青蒿素及其衍生物在阿尔茨海默病、帕金森病、肌萎缩性侧索硬化症和亨廷顿病中的潜在应用,探讨了其通过调控淀粉样蛋白代谢、抗氧化应激、抗炎和修复神经元损伤等多重机制发挥的神经保护作用,分析了其临床应用仍面临生物利用度低和代谢快的挑战,提出未来需进一步研究长期安全性和疗效,开发新型剂型和衍生物以实现潜力。

Abstract:

With the intensification of global population aging, the social medical and economic burdens caused by neurodegenerative diseases are steadily increasing. Artemisinin and its derivatives have shown potential in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases due to their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor, immunomodulatory, and neuroprotective effects. This paper summarizes the potential applications of artemisinin and its derivatives in Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and Huntington's disease. It explores their neuroprotective effects through multiple mechanisms, such as regulating amyloid protein metabolism, anti-oxidative stress, anti-inflammation, and repairing neuronal damage. It also analyzes the challenges that their clinical applications still face, including low bioavailability and rapid metabolism. It is proposed that in the future, further research is needed on long-term safety and efficacy, and the development of new dosage forms and derivatives should be carried out to realize their potential.
